They have held a residency with us for a year now and the nights quickly rose in popularity giving Gloucester one of the best House nights in Gloucester. Funked Up & Feeling Good consists of Andy G (sheebob records) and Aide Simpson. These guys have been spinning the decks in Gloucester for years now and are regarded two of the top DJ’s for their tune selection in Funk, Soul & Motown. Now on the first Saturday of every month from 11pm they will be playing live in the restaurant as well as the decks there will be live percussion and instrument jams! These guys really are the funky connoisseurs for the funky soul!

The Cafienda consists of four DJ’s: Mathew chow from the Lost Gonzos and Joe Banyard, Chris Faice, from Courson and Phil a.k.a Le Ginge. They play on rotation through out the night and all have varied tastes in Rock n Roll, Blues, Indie, 80’s Hair Rock (banyard!) and more. Basically its just a night of pure Rock N Roll Mayhem!!

Last year we introduced a beast into the world called Sanitarium! DJ Jeffers plays a wide selection of Rock and Metal all night long, and since its introduction too the world it wasn’t long before the dance floor filled with metal heads, we have high hopes for Sanitarium in the new year giving back Gloucester the metal night it deserves!

Essence are a collective of House, Trance and Tech DJ’s who are set to be big names in the future. These don’t mess around when it comes to putting on a party. Last summer they put on a massive Boat party in Gloucester docks where we at Café Rene provided the after party and it was an immense night! They have played all over the UK and on new years secured Pendulum for an event!
