We are situate in Marylone, off Southgate Street. Walk through the archway opposite The New County Hotel. We are part of and are surrounded by historical Gloucester. Please see our page on Gloucester and Our History for more detail.
Here is the archway to Cafe Rene - it hasn't changed in centuries!
Alongside is St Mary de Crypt Church and at the bottom of Marylone you will find Addison's Folley, Greyfriars Green and the ruins of The Greyfriars Abbey. The music library, which also houses the archives of European Blues, is next to and incorporated into the ruin.
