Jessica and the Rhodes cousins is an incredibly powerful Soul band. Jessica’s voice over Funk based rhythms and Guitars makes for a very moving show from the heart to the feet to the floor. Guaranteed to get everyone dancing!

Cafe Rene is set to host a night of Rock, Blues and Inie with 3 awesome acts.
Luke Philbrick (Solid Gone) and Damon T come together for a special gig of pure Blues music.
Muchos Tequilas Later are an indie rock band comprised of four individuals, united by a mutual appreciation of good music.
Hired Guns are a Gloucester based Ha(i)rd Rock band that will simply blow your socks off!
Wed 26th – NICK PARKER
Nick Parker is brilliant Guitarist and song writer from Glastonbury. Playing Folk songs that tell tales of past times and hopes for the future he wins all audiences over. Recently back from a big tour with
Gaz Brookfield, Nick supported him here at Cafe Rene earlier in the year and we just had to get him back for his own solo show.

Conjuring up the mood of 1930’s Paris, fused with the energy of a campfire jam session, they are a group of musicians with a passion for gypsy swing music. Irresistible rhythms, lyrical melodies and our own little bit of ‘special sauce’ give us the ingredients for a heart warming, hip swinging sound.

London based Indie-Rockers
Laburnum is tipped to be the next big band to come from the UK. The band have just completed a small Los Angeles tour in February 2015, playing exclusive showcase gigs at the world famous Whisky a Go Gos well as the Hollywood Sound Studios and an intimate acoustic showcase at La Poubelle in Hollywood.
Wed 9th DARREN HODGE
Darren Hodge is a young man who although only seventeen is regarded by his peers as one of the top young guitarists in the country. After picking up his first guitar only five years ago he has been astounding audiences up and down the country with his instrumental style of playing. His first solo album Titled "The Road To Nashville" Which includes no less than seven original pieces composed by Darren himself.
FRI 11th RUZZ GUITARS BLUES REVUE
'Ruzz Guitar's Blues Revue' - A new powerful, Soul injected Blues R'n'B Rock'n'Roll band hailing from Bristol UK and lead by Gretsch wielding guitarist Ruzz Guitar. Taking inspiration from many great guitarists, Ruzz has developed what he has learnt into his own style, which is quickly becoming recognized around the UK and Europe.
Wed 16th JAMES CARR AND THE COMRADES
James Carr & The Comrades blend original and classic music that gives a contemporary feel to different styles of music, including the gritty sounds of the pre-WWII American South, the attitude of the post-war Chicago scene, the swing rhythms of the European 'hot' jazz clubs, through to the Euro-American fusion of the transatlantic revival.
Fri 18TH POOR OLD DOGS
Poor Old Dogs formed with a collective inclination for good, honest music combining: Blues Country, Folk, Punk and SKA.
They reside in the nooks and crannies of Bristol and harbour a desire to sow their wild musical oats far and wide.
Wed 23RD – OIL SLICK FIRE
Midlands based Blues, Rock and Jazz outfit ‘Oil Slick Fire’ play high energy shows of originals and covers of classics you have all missed.
Fri 25th – SOUL STRUTTERS
The Strutters play an eclectic mix of Rare Groove gems, Dirty Funk, Rock, Motown Soul classics and all things in-between. Putting their own flavour on classics that everyone loves and the ones that got forgotten. They never fail to get the most diverse crowds partying.
Wed 30th – ADAM SCRIVEN
Incorporating intricate finger picking, virtuoso and percussive guitar techniques, yidaki (didgeridoo), harmonica, a foot stomp and conscious lyrics Adam's passion for music is clear and infectious.
